Position: Retail Store Sales Associate
Location: On site in Bellevue WA
Hours: Full Time

Retail Schedule Description: This individual would report to the Store Manager and assist in the day-to-day management of the retail store; providing outstanding sales and service assistance to retail customers; routine sales/service issues and escalations, achieving sales objectives, executing store maintenance and visual tasks and working with associates within the store to improve selling skills, product knowledge and sales results.

Responsibilities:

Store Sales Goals
• Continuously motivate staff to achieve store, team and individual goals by communicating goals at the start of each shift and providing sales updates throughout the day
• Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the selling floor
• Address Marketing Price Change communications through appropriate signage adjustments to maximize sales

Customer Service & Product Knowledge
• Maintain highest degree of customer service and store standards
• Conduct post-engagement conversations with associates to improve future selling performance, focusing on what behaviors they will start, stop or repeat
• Assist associates with various customer service issues, i.e. dissatisfied customers, returns, etc.
• Empower sales associates to make decision in the best interest of exceptional customer service
• Train and instill superior product knowledge for all sales associates.

Operations
• Manage opening, closing, cash & credit reconciliation; stocking and in-store merchandising procedures.
• Effective utilization of Point of Sale system & associated inventory management functions; assure staff is proficient Managerial & Leadership
• Supervise personnel and enforce company policies
• Proactively communicate to staff in regards to store related initiatives and promo’s

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of retail experience
• Excellent communication; verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Experience in administrative aspects of store operations and sales
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and maneuver around sales & stockroom, warehouse; ability to lift up to 40lbs.
