Commercial Espresso Machine Sales Associate

Our Commercial Espresso Machine Sales Associates love coffee and excel at sales, always working closely with the customer and other members of the SCG team to find the best coffee and equipment solutions for our customers.

Using a consultative sales approach, Commercial Espresso Machine Sales Associates engage customers with their coffee equipment expertise, which they develop through guided learning and self-development, advising them throughout the buying process. The goal of Sales Associates is to simplify a complicated process for the customer and build brand loyalty through a high level of service.

Responsibilities: - Develop and manage a pipeline of leads and customers through the purchase process
o Process incoming calls and leads
o Generate and develop new leads through outbound activities (Yes, we do mean warming up the occasional cold lead)
o Enter orders, make account changes and communicate proactively with customers, internal resources and third parties
- Meet monthly sales goals and installation targets
- Coordinate the installation of commercial equipment
- Develop, maintain and communicate a strong product knowledge of the commercial range of coffee and espresso products
- Achieve excellent customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach, follow through and outstanding customer service

Skills: - Ability to prioritize and accomplish a high volume of work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prior success in a sales position required; excellent and demonstrated ability to communicate, sell and effectively achieve goals is a must
- Prior experience using Salesforce or similar sales pipeline tool (CRM) preferred
- Must be comfortable using computers and be willing to learn new systems
- Prior coffee industry experience a plus
